Dear Hiring Manager,
I realize that I do not have a lot of experience in the field, I am hoping to get my experience on the job. A lot of places wanted a four year degree which is why I am finishing my bachelors, but I also have an Associate in Liberal Arts along with an Associate in Drug and Alcohol Counseling. I am very passionate about helping these people turn their lives around and I know I would be a great addition to your staff. Please take the time to go over my resume and please just give me a chance. I need the experience, but it is a catch 22, they always want you to have the experience but they won't hire you for the job that will give you the experience. I did do an internship at CADA which is a facility in Allentown, it is the Counsel on Alcohol and Drug Abuse and I loved every part of it, from scheduling appointments to individual counseling and especially group counseling. I even enjoyed the paperwork. I would appreciate the chance to show you what a great counselor I would be. Thank you very much,
Erica Lawson
