A lot of places wanted a four year degree which is why I am finishing my bachelors, but I also have an Associate in Liberal Arts along with an Associate in Drug and Alcohol Counseling. I need the experience, but it is a catch 22, they always want you to have the experience but they won't hire you for the job that will give you the experience. I did do an internship at CADA which is a facility in Allentown, it is the Counsel on Alcohol and Drug Abuse and I loved every part of it, from scheduling appointments to individual counseling and especially group counseling.
