BLUEPRINT 2000 – CONTRACTOR

Served as research assistant under the direction of Drs. Jennifer Koslow and Anthony Dixon on behalf of the Smokey Hollow Historic American Landscapes Survey (HALS) project. Duties will involve compiling data from the Riley Archives at Tallahassee Community College, the Florida State Archives, and Strozier Library at Florida State University to identify documentation on the history of the people who called Smokey Hollow their home. Research further included reading newspapers, census manuscripts, reviewing church records, government documents, photographs, oral histories, telephone books, and identifying possible maps for the documentation of the history of the cultural landscape. Transcribed and analyzed 1930 census data and generated required reports for contribution to the finalized HALS report.

Assisted with the deliverable of a complete draft of the Historical Report using the guidelines provided by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Historic American Landscapes Survey.
