Job Description as a Nurse Consultant/Operations Supervisor:

1.Project initiation

Coordinate with clients for preparation of project requirements and documentation

Facilitate accreditation of client to POEA

Plot timeline and set project checklist

Communicate project details to all employees of ASC upon finalization

2.Monitoring and Reporting

Set weekly meetings to assess status of projects

Submit pertinent reports to client/s as required

Follow-up key personnel/managers assigned to specific project aspects and requirements

3.Implementation and Completion

Monitor project checklist before actual project date

Coordinate details during project date

Report final results of client interview to stakeholders

Spearhead project evaluation and debriefing

Initiate improvements to be applied for next project

4.Conduct or facilitate thorough screening of qualified candidates

Job Description as a Clinical Instructor/Lecturer:

States vision, mission capabilities and services offered through general orientation in every institution or agency affiliated.

Discusses Related Learning Experience guidelines, policies, rules and regulations.

Assists students in familiarization with the physical set-up, SOP's, policies and equipments in the area.

Teaches basic nursing procedures.

Evaluates students based on their performances and exams.

Conducts lectures on nursing subjects – i.e. Medical-Surgical Nursing I & II; Anatomy & Physiology; Community Health Nursing; Professional Adjustment in Nursing; etc.

Formulates course outline, syllabus, and examination questions

Evaluates and updates textbooks, journals, & audiovisual materials for the purpose of the discussion

Incorporates evidence-based practice into the theoretical aspect of learning

Creates e-learning module for the subject/s being taught

Joins the regular faculty meeting, faculty development, enrichment programs

Facilitates learning and personal-professional growth inside and outside the classroom.

Gives and attends nursing care to patients and their family at bedside and during emergency cases.

Receives proper endorsements.

Do nurse's rounds.

Initiates the administration of proper medications and treatments.

Carries out doctor's order.

Assembles and communicates appropriate information in verbal or written reports in order to maintain continuity of care in the nursing process.

Keeps accurate and detailed charting for each patient.

Performs nursing procedures such as suctioning, catheterization, feeding thru the NGT/PEG, etc.

Operates machines like ECG, Doppler, ventilator, infusion pump, cardiac monitor, etc.

Assess patient's vital signs and neurologic status.

Meets psychological needs of patients and their families by reassurance and assistance.

Utilizes the standard of care in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of each type of patient.

Ensures a safe supportive environment for staff, physicians and patients.

Promotes personal and professional growth by actively participating in continuing education programs.

Participates in the professionalism by showing courtesy, compassion, respect and adherence to the standards.
