Research and analytical skills

Collected and analyzed data from social interaction and preference behavioral testing in adult rats using SPSS to perform three-way ANOVA for the male and female groups

Constructed graphs and charts of the results gotten from SPSS to demonstrate a visualize trend of the behavioural changes in each rat group as a result of the drug

Interpreted the rats’ behaviour using the results during the social interaction test in respect to social anxiety, social affiliation and social memory

Developed a questionnaire on attitudes of college students to the Ontario new sex education curriculum for elementary school children

Surveyed about 50 participants to fill out the online questionnaire on the Ontario Curriculum Grades 1-8 Health and Physical education and converted the responses to quantitative data for analysis

Delivered an oral presentation to over 60 students and professors for my honors thesis on the testing of a drug that inhibits TrkB/BDNF signaling called ANA-12 on stress and non-stress adolescent rat groups to demonstrate the antidepressant and anxiolytic properties and its impact on social behaviours of the rats in adulthood

Delivered a medical presentation to groups of over 50 students in a neuroscience class in order to create awareness about brain cancer

Facilitated and motivated a small group of 10 high school students in creating a cartoon-like model of evolution for a national science competition in order to be offered a full scholarship into university

Resolved customers’ issues such as exchange policy and damaged product after purchase with delicacy and calmness

Persuaded home owners in employing a foundation company to fix their house construction problems and was offered bonuses for each customer referred by me

Worked with other team members on a school project which was on creating an anti-advertisement campaign for an advertising class, I was in charge of delegating different aspects of the project to each member and supervising the progress of the project and we won the award for best campaign

Performed euthanasia, brain dissection after running experiments on the rats and determined the estrus cycle of the female rats from their vaginal discharge under a microscope
