Wheelchairs and seating and positioning products. Sunrise Medical Employs

over 2000 people globally and boasts sales of over $400 million. Company

credo is "Improving People's Lives".

Account Manager / certified trainer

Established a strong market presence and strategic positioning for sales of

complex rehab and standard wheelchairs, along with seating and positioning

products. Attended product assessments/evaluations with clinicians and

doctors to insure end-user compatibility. Call points were rehab clinics

and neuroscience departments, specializing in spinal cord injury, traumatic

brain injury, progressive disease clinics such as ALS, MD, Cerebral Palsy,

Parkinson's, including Pediatric, Geriatric, and Bariatric patients. VA

Hospitals combined to be my largest and most valued customer. Conducted

sales presentations via on-site meetings with customer management and end-

users to demonstrate value of solutions. Maintained consistent

contact/communication with customers, providing product training,

implementing protocol compliance post sale, and providing fast resolution

to customer issues.

Beginning with J&J Patient Care, the flagship company of Johnson & Johnson,

sold medical disposables to include gauze sponges / wraps and tapes, Band

Aids to Baby Powder, too many SKU's to mention. All products were Wound

Care based. Also sold surgical mesh hemostasis products, thrombin (pharmacy

based) and IV starter kits. Call points were OR, Cath Lab, Med/Surg

Floors, Pharmacy, ER, Burn Units, Wound Care clinics and Materials

Management. Implemented Hospital Incentive Program (HIP) to penetrate all

departments and enhance market share of all products. Transitioned to J&J

Medical, which included Surgikos, Inc., which specialized in OR packs and

gowns, masks, surgical gloves, and sterilizing solutions for OR

instruments, all while maintaining the legacy products of J&J Patient Care.

This was a more OR focused call cycle, allowing me to penetrate the OR and

surgeons and OR Head Nurses, and Surgeon's Lead Nurses, to educate and

enhance the use of our products. You had to "get on their card". Observed

countless surgeries in many disciplines, including CVT, Neuro, Ortho,

Gynecology and General Surgery. Scrubbed in and helped introduce some

products into sterile field and was

expected to be a "member of the team" and educate Surgeons on use of

product while implanting or placing on the patient during surgery.

Transitioned to Ethicon Endo where we had a primary product that reduced

the risk of pelvic adhesions during Laparoscopic or open Gynecological

Surgery. You had to get pharmacy approval for this product.
