A&P Mechanic. Duties: Repair and maintain components used for the
aircraft. Inspect aircraft engines, landing gears, instruments, pressurized sections, accessories, rakes, valves, pump and air conditioning. Repair and replace worn defective parts. Maintain a record on maintenance performed on the aircraft and interpret technical manuals, drawings or blue prints. As a AP Mechanic, my duty was to conduct inspections following a schedule based on the hours the aircraft was flown as well as safety and observation of assistance when needed by the pilot or pilots. I flew at least three times
a week to the outer islands.
02/2007 – 07/2010 City & County of Honolulu Halawa Corp yard, Aiea, Hi 96701 Heavy Equipment Construction Mechanic.
Duties: Repair and overhaul C & C fleet equipment. Troubleshoot and
Preventive maintenance. Maintained the heavy equipment construction machinery for the department of Facility Maintenance.
Trouble calls, ordering parts, disassemble tractor tracts, cranes, bulldozers and boilers. Fabricate, repair and replace parts in hydraulics and or electrical components.
05/2008 – 5/2009 Metson Marine Services, Inc Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, Hi 96860 Lead Mechanic. Duties: Operate and maintain fleet vessels and ships for the Government and Commercial Port Operations,
Ship docking/undocking, line handling, crane servicing. Repaired Caterpillar, Cummings and Detroit engines for marine application.
Ensured safety, security, dive patrol boats and Rhib’s and various tenders.
03/2003 – 07/2006 P & R Water Taxi, Ltd 160 Ahua St then to Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, Hi 96860 Marine Mechanic. Duties: Repair and maintain workboats, cargo and vessels. Ensure proper safety operations
and holding weekly meetings. Assist in tug boats and crew boats. Supervise three labors while working on the tug boats. Work with the United States Navy and Chevron. Responsible for the fuel tanker and loading fuel on the tug boats and vessel. Responsible for maintaining
a log and repair and replace components or parts.
