Project Title : Experimental & Numerical Investigation of drag reduction techniques in high speed model
Coach.

Specialization: Bluff body Aerodynamics
Description : Existing model was measured and scaled down into small for fabrication which is capable for testing in wind tunnel. In addition to that CFD method was incorporated to analyze the variation of aerodynamic effect on the model bus. Both results are compared. Modifying bus geometry can reduce drag and improving fuel economy
B.E. PROJECT:
Project Title : Design and Fabrication of Propeller pitch Mechanism.
Duration : 6 months
Team Size : 4 members
Description : The preliminary design procedure for the propeller was developed and validated. The effects of pressure variation on the leading and trailing sides of the propeller were studied.

Presented the topic “Investigation of Drag reduction in Heavy vehicles through passive flow control” in the International Conference held at Thiruvalluvar College of Engineering and Technology on 2nd March 2013.
