EXPERIENCE
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Develop and maintains qualified Injection System Foam and Compression molding process
Develop the documentation to support the molding process, and maintenance equipment for Injection System Foam and Compression (Policy, Manual, Procedures, Work Instructions, formats…)
Provide and coordinate the trainings to technicians, and manufacturing personnel when required as part of process validation
Identify initiatives to reduce or contain cost, improve material flow, evaluate capacity and manage continuous improvement. Develop and update troubleshooting injection molding process
Prepare and control annual budget
Use of Quality Tools Required from Automotive Industry
Production Supervision and Assistance to Assigned Personnel. In charge of more than 5 production line with 60 people each. Coordinate the production programs, assure to follow up the quality customer requirements, safety and environmental procedures and company policies.
Assuring compliance with effective business practices to maximize quality, productivity, efficiency and safety in the organization.
Ensures the manufacturing processes to meet the Quality, Environment and Safety requirements
Apply statistical methods to manufacturing requirements
Coordinate the Corrective and Preventive Action Implementation as response of the Quality Complain and Continues Improvement.
Supervised Trial run processes for new product, which helped exceed projected production goals.
Understand and comply with UL, QS, ISO/TS16949 and ISO 14001 requirements.
Responsible for Equipment Installation / Polyurethane Systems in the Steering Wheels Manufacture process.
Scrap Reduction in the Injection System Foam Manufacturing Process
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Technical knowledge to innovate processes, procedures, tooling.
Management of Chemical compound Polyurethane (POLYOL & ISOCIANATE & COLOR PASTE) during the injection process phases, including the hazardous waste control.
Assuring compliance with effective business practices to maximize quality, productivity, efficiency and safety in the organization.
Provide Technical support to the customers with steering wheel manufacturing process located in Mexico (Matamoros, Reynosa, Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Chihuahua, Queretaro, Tlaxcala and Los Fresnos Tx) related with polyurethane compound.
Member of the quality team in the quality solving problem, use of quality tools as DOE, 8D,\
Understand and comply with UL, QS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 requirements
MAINTENANCE
Coordinate the Preventive maintenance activities of the Injection System Foam equipment and Compression molding
Implementation of 5 S in the workshop
Maintain an inventory of Spare Parts
SALES
Implement and maintain effective customer communication and support strategies to ensure that customer requirements are met and understood
Respond to client Inquiries such as: Identify client requirements, providing results, answering questions
Safety and Packing Supplier Sales and Technical Support to the Industry
