Purchasing
Oversee a force of 31 employees in 3 separate departments. Purchasing, Facilities, Installation.

Manage, order, and keep track of all material ordered bi-coastally. Keep a detailed list of all inventory as well costing, vendor report cards, and bid outs on large retail jobs.
Source all building items from office supplies to multi million dollar machines.
Handle the buying of all equipment contracts
Set up bi-coastal forecast reports on material used and estimated to use through the WIPS to then negotiate with vendors what is needed to purchase
Create and update systems in place to keep a live inventory. Pull Slips, material log out in computer systems and keep track of all verbals.
Source all client needs. From electronics to the smallest items. World Wide sourcing. Always willing to fulfill the clients needs and wants.
Order one million to 1.5 million of inventory/supplies/hardware per month. Maintain full accuracy of orders from invoices to ensure a match for what was negotiated.
Keep a 30 day inventory as best as possible only ordering and forecasting what is needed and not over ordering. Maintain inventory turns and backorders of material.
Assist many clients with there unique needs. Ensures what they require will work for application. If a certain item does not work for them I express to them and offer the correct material/solution and goes to bat with new vendor to make sure pricing is still where client want to be.
Set up many types of training classes for my department to help with new technology that is out there.

Fabricate and create consumer packaging for the end user. Project client ideas into renderings with packaging companies to ensure safe travels thru transit to stores. My biggest client for a must have damage free packaging fabrication is Apple.
Manage employees schedule, times, Overtime, Time off and sick time.
Approve and create salary and OT reports thru Trinet system. Forecast peak amount of hours for employees and report to Corp office bi weekly.
Facilities
Manage 2 facilities (east and west coast 70,000 sq. ft. each) ensure all licenses and permits were kept up to date on buildings, all machines, city, fire department, AQMD, and structural elements such as backflow, elevators, and sprinkler systems.
Oversee IT support, company cell phones, office moves, office trouble shoots, and day-to-day operations of each department within location.
Work very closely with General Contractors, Construction crews to oversee improvement, buyouts of other buildings and full extensive remodel to both buildings on each coast.
Purchase needed supplies to keep facility clean and tidy.
Develop a daily and weekly schedule for custodians as well as enticing duties that would produce certain rewards for taking the project on.
Installations
Oversee a group of installers that service clients such as Apple, Disney, CBS, NBC, Fox, Warner Bros, MGM, Debmar, Sephora and all make up brands under as well as BCBG, Architecture firms, and many small business new store popups.
Maintain a vendor/installer database for installers world wide. Keep all information about vendors up to date.
Direct and oversee all tradeshow booths and conventions.
Travel to many locations to oversee and set up client space per renderings and spec sheets.

Responsible for managing the logistics of all orders for Nike, Adidas, and #1 client Abercrombie and Fitch.
Run detailed tracking reports, pricing reports, and ensure delivery to over 500 stores worldwide.
Manage a crew of 5 employees for all shipments coming in and going out.
Meet with logistic vendors, freight forwarders and LTL carriers on best possible rates and transit times per client distribution documents.

Knowledge of many different inventory systems such as JD Edwards and Genesis.
