Description: Project gives clear understanding of aft end arrangement of ship according to the rules provided by classification society. Taking an account of stress and vibration acting on ship structure, we have constructed transom stern for the construction of our project because it provides greater deck area. Aft end arrangement consists of stern frame, aft peak tank, steering gear flat, stern tube and poop deck.

IMPRESSION ON MARINE FIELD:
I got impression on field, when I visited Chennai beach. I saw majestic and huge ships which never left my eye on that day, from that day onwards I got my passion for ships and becoming a mariner. My second impression was from the film titanic and they have shown engineers working in engine room when the speed rises. Engineers have a stripe of pink on their applet as a memorial honour from the queen of England as they sacrificed their life in titanic to keep the power on till the ship sunk. So I had the aim to become a Marine engineer.
