Vallourec Star - Girard, OH - July 2014 to Present Responsible for multi-facility Capex budget management of $80 million annually.

Implemented FEL stage gate Capex management process to improve return on investment and project management within the company.

Responsible for all continuous improvement efforts for 7 production plants, maintenance, logistics and business support functions.

Assisted local plant management with defining KPI's and completing a full cascade from the floor up to the management level.

Leader of the Lean Steering Committee with 11 direct reports achieving $13.4M of Opex savings in 2014.

Developed cost reduction acceleration project aimed at delivering $39M of savings in 2 years.

Implemented safety risk reduction process resulting in year over year 5% risk reduction.

Led the development of a $1.2M Manufacturing Execution System to facilitate production monitoring and control and ERP integration.

Vallourec Performance Analyst (VPA)

Vallourec Star - Girard, OH - April 2011 to November 2012

Developed 60 hour (hands on and classroom) lean management training and deployed to 200 team members to facilitate ramp up of new production facility.

Responsible for greenfield design of $400 million dollar seamless pipe manufacturing facility.

Worked with original equipment manufacturers to integrate SMED, Visual management, TPM and SPC into the design of their equipment prior to installation in the facility.

Developed manufacturing simulation model to analyze value stream for the business and manufacturing process which was utilized to improve the facilities ramp up plan. Process Manager - Director of Engineering

Director of all operations and engineering for the Acrylics department.

Achieved lead time reduction: 14 day to 2 day manufacturing lead time to support corporate sales force.

Plan calculated inventory reductions to minimize warehousing cost.

Developed in-depth training program to reduce turnover rate impacts on both product and scrap.

Implemented departmental Critical to Quality Check (CTQC) system which communicated and incorporated all quality standards through SOP's, improving internal yields and quality creating a significant improvement in customer complaint and warranty issues.

Worked with Human Resources and union management in creating new policies and repairing the union management culture after the 2008 union strike.
