Experience
Before I came in U.S, I worked as restaurant manager for 15 years. I have skills in organizing party, event, and weeding. Then, I have been moving in U.S for 5 years. Just a week after I came in, I was invited to manage a small restaurant. That was a first working experience in U.S
-12/2010- 04/2012: A restaurant manager at Bi Da Tu Do south 45. As manager, my responsibilities are making the restaurant working smoothly from the front to the back. Also, how to keep satisfaction of customers, storing food and controlling workplace always be clean and safety. After that, I had a chance to start something newly that concerned with manufacturing.
-04/ 2012- 03/2014: A band saw controller. At Dragon Products Company, Houston TX. This company has been a vital industry resource for more than 60 years. Their products are rigs, tanks, pumps, trailer, container, roll-off equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Cutting pipe steel and many kinds of shape: angle, rectangular, hollow circle, L shape, channel shape…,
- Calculating and measuring steel how to be organized, and accurate.
- Controlling vertical (Hyd-mech V18) and horizontal (Hyd-mech M16a) bandsaw fluently.
- Keeping environment clean and safety.
That time I think that I needed more challenges. So, I applied to SEC Energy Company.
-03/2014- 01/2016: Pipe Fitter. “SEC Energy is a full-service compression design and manufacturing company that provides production and processing equipment, turnkey engineering services, truck- based service technicians, manufacturer parts, and power generation equipment for the oil and gas industry.”
Responsibilities:
-Coordinate with job site manager to configure pipe system layout.
-Select supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders.
- Assemble materials at job site.
- Select type and size of pipe.
-Cut, thread, hammer pipes, and bottles according to pipe system specs.
- Use saws and cutting torches to craft proper pipe sizes.
- Turn off steam, water, or gas from pipe section.
-Secure pipes to walls and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment.
-Secure pipes to radiators or tanks.
- Repair and maintain pipe systems and components.
- Resolve problems such as obstructions or holes.
- Remove water from flooded manholes or basements.
-Repair cracks and leaks.
