Summary of Qualifications
Researched product and process improvements of wallboard products including chemical additives involving comprehensive multi-phase development of solutions in the laboratory, the field and industrial settings. The results were improved product performance, reduction of environmental footprint and development of cost reduction strategies.
Completed projects on time and on budget by effectively supervising and coordinating employees and contractors to solve production issues and capturing cost reduction solutions. New Stainless Steel Condenser, initiated designed and managed construction of Condenser resulted in improved pressure drop and a 0.2% increase in production.
Filter Dryer Project, Budget $ 500,000, Duration 7 months, Supervised all aspects of the installation of new drying system including filter dryer, burner and wash leg. It doubled drying capacity.
Pond Project, Budget $ 153,000, Duration 6 months, Managed the construction of an effluent containment system. It reduced our effluent from 6 ppm to 3.5 ppm to reach ministry compliance.
Compactor Screen and Scale Project Budget $ 82,000, Duration 3 months, Coordinated installation of two screens and one scale on the compacted water conditioning salt line. Improved quality reduced scale losses and increased bagger speed 20%.
Pulverizer and Mill Upgrade Project Budget $ 30,000, Duration 7 months, Analyzed the root cause of poor production and completed modifications to the two pulverized product systems. It increased the production on both lines 235%.
Exhauster Silencer Project, Budget: $ 5,000, Duration 2 days, Designed and supervised the construction of an air silencer on new exhauster. It was certified compliant with ministry noise pollution standards, quelling public complaints.
Hamer Palletizer and Conveyor Project, Budget: $ 35,000, Duration 7 months, Designed and supervised the upgrade of the palletizer conveyor system and modified the slip-sheet dispenser saving $65,000 annually.
