Represent the University of Louisville “Signature Partnership” at three of the five Jefferson County Public Schools.
Work closely with three of them to promote, foster and encourage a college going culture for students that come from low-income and first-generation households.
Facilitate a curriculum per grade that prepares students for not only going to college, but graduating. That curriculum includes recruitment, advising, resume building, and study skills.
Coordinate campus visits, schedule community speakers, and expose participants to: financial literacy, FAFSA support, and scholarship/college application preparation.
Recruit, train, and supervise college students to serve as tutors during the academic year as well as summer Residence Counselors.
