Testing Procedures and Ammunition Responsibilities:

Follow military specifications with 50 caliber slap, 50 caliber slap trace, 50 caliber M33 ball, 50 caliber blanks, 7.62 x 51mm, 5.56 M855 ball, and 9mm Nato Government contracts as well as commercial ammunition contracts.

Function and Casualty fired to insure that the ammunition is able to perform satisfactory in the service weapons for which it has been designed. This test requires careful attention to alertness, and any unusual occurrence in a gun function or appearance of fired cases shall be noted.

Chamber pressure fired to determine the pressure exerted in the chamber of a weapon. This test is performed as a safety measure to insure that the pressure developed by the ammunition is safe for firing in the weapons for which it is intended.

Port pressure fired to determine if the gas would exert sufficient pressure to assure satisfactory functioning of gas-operated weapons.

Test velocity to determine the velocity level and uniformity of the ammunition.

Test action time to determine the overall primer ignition, propellant burning time, and barrel time.

Test accuracy under controlled conditions at a target located at a specified distance from the weapon to determine the uniformity and dispersion of bullets.

Followed through in a prompt and professional manner when handling customer concerns.
