My involvement in two shot molding started when it was being developed. I designed the first two shot color mold for I.B.M. for the standard and Japanese key board. I also developed two shot molding for the Olivetti Underwood typewriter. The GTE telephone keys were also developed for production by the two shot mold I developed. The equipment used to produce these parts was a Stokes 300 ton vertical twin barrel, side by side, machine with automatic separation of the parts on ejection. It used a hydraulic rotary system for the first shots to place them into the second shot cavities. The method of ejection was a stripper plate after the second shot.

I also did two shot molding producing dental brushes for the South American market. Also, I developed a number of two shot parts.
