PROJECT DETAILS

“EFFECT OF POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL ON STRENGTH CHARACTERISTICS OF CONCRETE” was done to attain the strength of concrete with internal curing process.

“ DESIGN OF WASTEWATER TRETMNT PLANT FOR MADURAI CITY” was done. The design of plant components and their Structural design were calculated.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Presented a paper titled PASSIVE SOLAR BUILDINGS on CEASIT held at Sethu Institute of Technology, Pullor on 06th September 2013.

Presented a paper titled STRENGTH OF CONCRETE BY PARTIAL REPLACEMENT OF CEMENT WITH FLYASH AND ADDITION OF STEEL FIBRES on ENTROIDOS held at Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology, Virudhunagar on 19 & 20th of September 2014.

Participated in PROBLEM SOLVING COMPETITION on 24th January 2014 at Thiagarajar College of Engineering jointly with Builders’Association of India, Madurai.

Presented a model of TOWER BRIDGE on Engineer’s Day celebration on 15th September,2012 at Velammal College of Engineering and Technology, Madurai.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Attended One day Training Programme on Open Source Quantum GIS on 23rd January,2013 held at Velammal College of Engineering and Technology.

Attended Two-day National Level Seminar on “RECENT TRENDS IN CORROSION STUDIES” on 09-10-2013 & 10-10-2013 held at Velammal College of Engineering and Technology, Madurai.

Underwent im-plant training in TWAD BOARD, Madurai and gained knowledge on water supply schemes.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Won 1st prize for presenting the TOWER BRIDGE model in the MODEL MAESTRO event.
