Position: Associate Director 1988-1991
Responsible for assisting the Indiana Library Association Executive Director with the initial formation of the Indiana Library Association Executive Offices. The ILA is a professional organization representing approximately 5,000 statewide members. The Associate Director position was the staff liaison to the ILA Board of Directors and Committee Chairs. Conference and workshop planning was a major part of this position.

Position Association Manager
Responsible for managing a statewide professional association dedicated to the education and professional growth of the Indiana Chiropractic Community. The Association Manager responsibilities included association accounting, newsletter publication and production. Bi-annual Convention and seminar planning and membership recruitment and training were a major part of this position
Governor’s Voluntary Action Program 1981-1987
Position: Communications Director
Assisted in developing a statewide program of volunteer services by providing technical assistance to schools, government agencies and private businesses interested in volunteer program development. This position included budgeting and monitoring all monies allocated by the Indiana General Assembly. It also included the Indiana Adult Literacy Coalition manager responsibilities. This coalition provided fiscal management and public awareness to a Governor’s Task force established to combat adult illiteracy.
