Project work (B.Tech)

DEGA (DIGITAL EYE FOR COACH GUIDANCE AUTOMATION) IN RAILWAYS:

DESCRIPTION

The main aim of the project is to feed coach numbers automatically in LED displays, without any manual interference.

The project is designed based on RFID (Radio Frequency Identification).

RFID tag is attached to coach number board on the train and RFID Reader is placed at signal lights at the entering of station.

The tag is scanned by the reader, information sends by RF Transmitter.

The RF receiver at control room receives information of coach numbers sequence and displays in the respective LED screens. This reduces a lot of manual work.

This project can also be designed by using GSM Technology in future.
