Responsibilities;
General Ledger - Prepared and entered journal entries for month end closing and creation of all financial reports.
Accounts Receivable - Coordinated with Corporate Office on obtainment of credit reports and collection of past due accounts. Average A/R balances up to $10,000,000.
Accounts Payable - Assure all invoices have been properly approved before entry into computer for payment. Average payments of $5,000,000 per month.
Payroll - Coordinate with corporate HR Director to assure personnel policy is properly applied. New employee orientation at local plant. Back up for payroll entry.
Budgeting - Forecast expenses for future periods and obtain and key in sales estimates. Make adjustments to final budget per General Manager request.
Physical Inventory - Plan, execute and reconcile year end physical inventory. Answer all questions from outside auditors regarding physical inventory.
Monarch Corporation – 2011 to 2015. Materials Manager
Responsibilities:
Directing inbound steel - Discuss immediate steel needs with sales personnel and Corporate Director of Purchasing. Follow material available material ready at the mill and have appropriate coils delivered.
Scheduling - Conducted daily meetings with sales personnel to determine production needs. Scheduled 4 production lines and sent orders to plant for completion. Follow up orders to make sure all sales personnel was aware of progress.
Costing - Ran cost reports on all work orders to assure that there were no production errors and that all costing was correct.
Electronic filing - Filed chemistry reports for all coils in electronic files.
Inventory Reports - Prepared Excel inventory reports for all sales personnel at Decatur and Cleveland plants. Reports included total inventory and aged inventory reports.
I am comfortable using computers and have been through quite a few upgrades of computer systems. Learning new systems quickly is not new to me. Outlook and Excel are programs I am well versed in. I am personable and dependable, used to working in a team environment where deadlines must be met.
