MULTI MODE RADAR is a Pulse Doppler radar which Basically works in two sub modes in Air-to-Air MODE (AAM), they are TWS and STT .In TWS (track while scan) pilot selects particular parameters for finding the targets. These parameter values are taken and calculations are done. These values are given to antenna which ensures not only scanning but also safety of the aircraft. Scanning involve positioning the antenna platform to the pilot area of interest. Also values coming from antenna are taken supplied to scan converters.
