Project: Maintenance of E311 road from exit 119 to intersection of UAE-Falaj AL Mualla road asphalt works (stage one).

Contract NO.: R/719*-******/114/2014.

The project covers maintenance of shaikh Muhammad bin zayed road (40 km) (Milling existing asphalt + re-installing new asphalt + new construction for some parts of the road) with related services.

As a Project Manager:

1. Responsible for the coordination, execution, control and completion of projects while ensuring consistency with the company strategy, commitments.

2. Coordinate with client and consultant/local authority/sub-contractors.

3. Lead the planning/quality control /safety assurance/ progress control and implementation of project

4. Define project tasks and resource requirements.

5. Assemble and coordinate project department and project staff

6. Manage project resource allocation

7. Provide direction and support to project team

8. Constantly monitor and report of progress to company management

The project covers Airfield Development & Rehabilitation - Construction of the Package 1/ Section 4B & C of Airport Runway, Taxi way, Tunnel, AGL works, Storm Water Drainage works and other associated works.

As a Construction Manager, leading a team consists of project engineers, site engineers and supervisor’s staff to monitor all the activities on the project.

Responsibilities include control of the staff of manpower, machines, materials delivery on the project.

Des 2012 to Oct 2013: National Contracting & Transporting Company.

Client: Ministry of Public Works.

Consultant: (Idroesse infrastructure) Consulting Company.

Project: Follow up committee for the initiatives of H.H the president of UAE (Al FUJAIRAH Roads), (192 million AED).

The project covers construction roads (32 km ) ( earth works, proposal and existing utilities, sub base layers curbstones, wet mix layers, road base, asphalt layer, road marking, all curbstones works, gullies and soak away ).

Construction works of 3 box culverts {16 cells, 12 cells, and 3 cells}.

Storm water system, Irish crossing and related constructions.

As a Project Manager : Reading and interpreting Conditions of Contract (FIDIC), Specifications, shop drawings, Bill of quantity, preparing method of statements.

Dealing with client and consultant's engineers and all suppliers.

Preparing the technical submitting for the materials, sub-contractor agreement, bills, monthly reports, and payment certificates.

Coordinating the efforts of various parties to achieve the project on the correct time and within the budget.

Sep 2009 to Dec 2012: (Dubai Gulf) General Contracting Company.

Client: - Dubai Electrical &Water Authority (DEWA).

Project manager: (ARCO) General Contracting Company.

Consultant: (NJS) Consulting Company.

Project (1): supply water transmission pipe lines at various locations in Dubai.

Contract No: CW/0200B/2011. (36 million AED)

The project covers construction of 65 KM Supply, Installation, testing &commissioning of fiber cement, glass fiber reinforced epoxy water transmission pipe lines and associated works at various locations in Dubai.

As a Site manager, led a team of assistant engineer and four supervisors’ staff to monitor and supervise the constructions at the project.

Client: - Department of transport (Abu Dhabi).

Project manager: Larsen & toubro limited.

Consultant: mouchel engineering.

Project (2): Khalifa port & Industrial Zone (KPIZ), Sheikh Khalifa Interchange

Contract No: Dot/C/HW/155/09.

The project covers construction of 3000 m long bridge across the Sheikh rashed road, slips and loops road,embankments, roadwork, all kinds of services ( street lights, LV & KV cables, storm water, drainage, irrigation pipe lines.… etc ).

As a construction manager, led a team of assistant engineers and eight supervisors staff, to monitor and supervise the constructions at the project.

Client: - ADCO Abu Dhabi company for onshore oil operations.

- GASCO Abu Dhabi gas industries limited.

Project manager: Dodsal Eng & Const PTE LTD.

Project (3): Thamama C - Asab Lean Gas Pipeline (ALP).

The project is consists of right of way (ROW) preparation and stabilization by using tasted and approved road base material for the gas pipeline corridor length (91 km) from Habshan to Asab area, next step is starting of pipeline laying activities near ROW by co-coordinating with the project manager of this project .

As a Site agent leading a team consisted of a site agent, two professional civil engineers, one safety officer, two foremen, and tow surveyors.

Client: Government of Abu Dhabi (Presidential Palace).

Project manager: R. W Armstrong.

Consultant: Ewan architectural & engineering consultancy.

Project (4): piling platform works in Presidential Palace (Abu Dhabi).

This part of project consisted of construction of piling platform work for presidential wings at the presidential palace area (50000 m2).

I was working as a Project engineer leading a team consisted of one professional site engineer, one safety officer, one foreman and one surveyor team.

Dec 2005 to Sep 2009: Darwish Engineering Emirates (D.E.E)

Client: Government of Sharjah, Directorate of public work

Consultant: (HIP) Halcrow international partnership.

Project (1): Katah to Nizwah Interchange (R457), (192 millions DHS).

Project (2): Nature Reserve Underpass (R457/A), (87 millions DHS). Client :( EDRAK) Ras Al- Khaimah Education Company.

Consultant: (HIP) Hal crow international partnership.

Project (3): Mason University&Hamra Academy, Earthworks (41 millions).

Work as a Project engineer at project (1&2): construction of Interchange, Bridge, 4 slips, 4 loops, carriage ways, footpath, all kinds of curbstones and services (drainage, irrigation pipe lines, cables, storm water etc.).

Work as a Project engineer for project (3): earth works (1320 ha), cut and fill, construction of new roads as per required design.

Client: Government of Sharjah, directorate of public works.

Project (4): Junction (14H) Interchange at emirates roads. (49 million AED) .

Client: Ministry of Public Works.

Project (5): R/107/2005 Construction, executing roads in U.A.E

Sharjah (Al madam area), Dubai (Khadra & AL Munai area)

Grading the all works (151 million dhs).

Working as a project engineer on projects (4&5):

Responsible for project supervision and construction implementation of road works, land development projects and housing/ building construction, based on the approved plan, specifications, and schedule.

Conduct field inspection on project site to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.

Full supervision of manpower on the project.

Performs field planning, work scheduling, resource identification/allocation, man-hours estimation, equipment man-hours and material take off.

Deals with the monitors the provision of construction supplies and materials.

Study engineering drawings and plan daily activities of the on-going project.

Coordinate with the subcontractors regarding the project, anticipates problems and makes necessary action to support the on-going construction.

Prepares weekly and monthly progress report on housing and Land Development projects.

Review project progress with management.
