communications and sales for brokers and 300+ southeast and southwest retail agencies. 18 of these years include heavy and artisan/trade

Ironshore Exceeded budget for new business premium and submission count and had a 100% renewal retention.

HIIG Generated a multi-lines book exceeding 20m premium As of 7/1/15, the current and projected loss ratios generate a

profitable book.

Axis - Grew territory from $400,000 year end 2007 to over $8,000,000 year end 2009 and was on pace to exceed $10,000,000

premiums for 2010. In addition to the 8m+ 2009 written premium. I received the highest performance evaluation and earned the

maximum 25% bonus.

WR Berkley (Berkley Specialty Underwriting Mangers BSUM) - Generated a profitable book of business which grew from

less than $1,000,000 premiums in 2003 to over 8,000,000 in premiums year end 2007. BSUM produce a ROE exceeding 20 points for

every year during my employment.

C.N.A - grew annualized earned premiums from 14,000,000 in 2000 to over $30,000 million for 2003 with a 94 combined ratio.

Georgia Casualty - Grew territory from $ 6,000,000 in 1995 to 28,000,000 year end 1999. The combined ratio ranged from the mid

80s to low 90s. I was promoted to AVP and made an officer of the company in 1998. The biggest accomplishment was the creation

and implementation of CGL and Work Comp program for the Georgia Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association. This program ran

from 1997 to 2002 and generated over 8m premiums with a 28% loss ratio.

Progressive Received and Exceeds Expectations for 5 of 7 performance reviews.

Ironshore provided a promotional AVP opportunity to develop an Atlanta team to produce primary casualty, lead umbrella and excess

casualty for national retail brokers. I did write several lead umbrella and excess accounts and was exceeding my budget. Upper management

decided to discontinue specialty casualty operations in the Atlanta office. I was subsequently released and received 14 weeks severance pay.

My former territory is being managed by the Dallas office.

I rejoined Houston International Insurance Group in December 2014 for a promotional opportunity as Managing Underwriter for the West

Region. Because a recent corporate lawsuit has caused significant instability, I would be interested in an opportunity that can provide more

job security and production potential.

workers' compensation for retail brokers in the South-central, Southwest, Midwest, Rocky Mountain, and Pacific Coast regions. Account

premiums range from 150k to 3m. Developed a new business an new broker marketing program. Currently reevaluating the general liability,

excess, auto and workers compensation form.

Managed 40 E&S wholesale casualty brokers in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas, New Jersey, New York, and New Jersey.

Managed a Senior Underwriting Assistant (U.A.). Reported to the Senior Vice President. Underwrote E&S, higher severity, lower frequency

commercial general liability accounts for heavy commercial specialty contractors, construction, product manufacturers and distributors

(mostly imported goods), apartments, LRO, nightclubs, and amusement parks and centers. Half of these accounts had 2/2/2 limits and

generated $25,000 to 600,000 of premium.

2009 Top Underwriter of new business premium production, renewal retention, and loss ratio. I grew my territory from $400,000

year end 2007 to over $8,000,000 year end 2009 and was on pace to exceed $10,000,000 premiums for 2010.

Worked with the Excess Liability Underwriter to write up to 10 million in liability limits.

Collaborated with the IT department to develop a new Underwriting Management System for new business, renewal quotes, and

file management which increases underwriting efficiency.

Performed account underwriting file audits to ensure they met both internal and external requirements. This resulted in better audit

scores from reinsurers.

Established new clearance procedures which enabled the UAs to do some of the basic underwriting data collection which increased

Managed a UA and two junior underwriters.

Underwriter member of the team that developed and tested the paperless underwriting management system, and subsequently trained

other Underwriters on this new system.

Developed new paperless document requirements and procedures to complying with Sarbanes Oxley.

Associates. Managed a staff of 4 which included two UAs, a Sales Rep. and an Underwriter Trainee. Underwrote moderate hazard

residential and commercial contractor / manufacturer / distributor accounts that generated $10,000 to $50,000 premium with premium split

by line of 30% general liability, 25% Property/Inland Marine, 5% umbrella (up to 5m limits), 15% workers compensation.

Managed 90 agencies in Georgia, Alabama and Florida. Key duties included production underwriting, business development, relationship

building, education, training, and problem solving. Business segments were commercial and residential construction, industrial contracting,

manufacturing, and agri-business. Focus was admitted multilines middle market accounts with workers compensation and property being

the highest premium generating lines. I also wrote mono-line workers comp accounts with premiums ranging from $20,000 to $1,000,000,

and retentions ranging from guaranteed cost to a 1 million SIR. For larger accounts I also developed dividends and paid loss retro plans.

Managed a staff of 5 for marketing, sales and loss control functions. Grew territory from $ 6,000,000 in 1995 to 28,000,000 year end 1999.
