A Cricket Wireless authorized dealer, World Wireless, LLC is a start-up founded in October 2014. Currently, World Wireless has 26 retail locations across 7 states with an aggressive growth plan to reach over 50 locations in 9 states by year-end.

HR Lead/Generalist-

Responsible for the development, implementation and execution of numerous HR programs and procedures to include: Payroll,

Recruiting, Hiring, On-Boarding, Off-Boarding, Succession Planning, Employee Engagement, Training and Benefits.

Developed the company’s recruiting program which included: direct negotiation with online job board vendors, authoring interview guides for multiple positions, providing interview training and guidance for managers aimed at ensuring EEOC compliance during the hiring process, and the development of the “Always Be Recruiting” program focused on engaging passive candidates for employment opportunities with the company. Company headcount has grown from 38 to over 120 during this period.

Administered payroll utilizing ADP and Paycom.

Worked with leadership to determine a large company reorganization resulting in cutting $310K in annual salary while minimally impacting operations.

Managed the HRIS system.

Developed Employee Engagement programs which reduced attrition from 38% to 22% in 3 months.

Spearheaded the E-Verify program, bringing the company to 100% compliance.

Provided guidance to area and store managers regarding proper documentation of discipline for employees which has resulted in zero unemployment claims being substantiated for payment by state agencies.

Conducted research to provide guidance for the Executive Leadership Team in numerous matters regarding discipline and policies to ensure that the company remained compliant with FSLA, DOL, EEOC as well as individual state employment laws.
