CAREER OBJECTIVE
Piping Designer
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
I have approximately 38 years in the petro-chem industry as a Piping Designer and related positions working in Chemical Plants, Tank Farms, Off and Onshore Facilities, Compressor Stations, Inland Well Locations. Several years of that experience entailed department supervisor responsibilities.
I am a detailed oriented person who can maintain focus on the many aspects required to produce a complete quality project.
My communication skills with team members, clients and vendors are excellent, which are known to be an important part of any successful project. My design software experience is with 2D and 3D Autocad using CadWorx and Plant 3D for producing General Arrangements, Pipe Routing Designs, Equipment Modeling, Isometrics & Custom Parts as well as tailoring software component specs to client requirements.
I understand P&ID drawings well and have been relied upon to produce and perform designer reviews on many project systems.
I’ve produced Material Lists for purchasing and weight estimates. I’ve worked independently and as a team member in the field performing walk downs in Production Facilities, Compressor Stations and Remote Well Sites to document changes or as-built new construction.
I held the position of Quality Control Manager in a coded vessel fabrication shop as well as being a 3rd party fabrication inspector. During the course of my experience I’ve worked in chemical plants and inland & offshore production facilities.
