Out of 50 managers employed by USA Detergents, one of only three managers absorbed by Church & Dwight once the company was acquired.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Plant Manager – A.P. Deauville, LLC, New Brunswick, NJ January 2002 – December 2014
In charge of all local, state and federal requirements for facility, including the following inspections – annual fire, OSHA, FDA, FDA Audits and waste tracking and DEP.
By coordinating engineering process, grew business from three to more than 50 SKU’s for deodorants, antiperspirants, body washes and shampoos.
Organized production schedule for two different packaging lines to ensure maximum efficiencies and prevent washout waste. The first line produced more than 57,000 units per shift, and the second produced more than 33,000 units per shift.
Reduced overfill from .05 ounces to .01 ounces by putting controls on the filler, which resulted in annual savings of more than $100,000.
Launched maintenance program and designed SOP format for approximately 50 pieces of equipment on facility grounds. Engineered size and specifications for each piece of packaging and processing equipment to meet future sales requirements, resulting in $25 million in sales.
Directed all shipping and receiving activities including the implementation of inventory count sheets to ensure traceability for each unit, case and finished pallet. This reduced the loss of on hand, finished good inventory from three to one percent, resulting in annual savings of approximately $150,000.
Hired and trained all department employees and assisted in the CGMPs and SOPs for each department. This equated about 12 employees across five different departments, and provided these employees with the skills needed to hire and train their own staff.
Compounding Manager – Church & Dwight, North Brunswick, NJ March 2001 – January 2002
Worked hand-in-hand with engineering to implement future growth projects, including the design of a $5 million conveyor bridge from production to distribution, resulting in an ROI of $2 million annually.
Oversaw a $500,000 chemical fluid room project to bring it into compliance with all local, state and federal guidelines. Ensured that entire project stayed within budget.
Coordinated the building of a $2 million processing area of nine 10,000 mix and storage tanks, capable of keeping up with three high speed lines of gallon laundry detergent, producing 85 bottles per minute. Reduced labor by $100,000 annually, while maintaining future growth sales of approximately $100 million per year.
Implemented $1 million rail and loading line with containment capable of receiving 40,000 gallons of material per day. Resulted in $400,000 in savings annually.
Organized monthly safety meetings for more than 300 employees, and conducted hands-on training with 20 department managers to ensure compliance.

Built processing area to grow and maintain liquid laundry detergent from 16,000 gallons daily to 400,000 gallons daily – meeting the doubled company sales demands. Reduced labor from three-man crew to one-man crew, resulting in $60,000 annual labor savings.
Managed inventory control from company’s inception, resulting in less than one percent raw material loss.
Responsible for specifications and installation of all equipment, including mix tanks, storage tanks, manifold systems, load cells, tanker unloading with containment and rail unloading with containment.
