Payroll Processing: Oversees and is responsible for payroll compliance, semi-monthly processing, PAF’s for all employee changes and works with finance regarding payroll reports/reporting.

Employee Relations: Act as a resource/coach to all managers and employees for employee relations issues that may arise; this includes overseeing annual review, performance guidance, hiring and firing.

Compliance: Assist in ensuring the proper compliance to all local, state, DOT and federal laws and regulations as it applies to benefits, payroll, employee relations and employment. Unemployment: Responsible for receiving and responding to all unemployment claims. Investigate and represent the organization on a claim(s).

Salary Administration: Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the compensation schedule with input and guidance from the Executive Team. Involved in the annual performance review, merit increase and salary adjustment process for all employees.

Managerial Training: Responsibility of working with managers and other staff on an on-going basis to administer or oversee training in areas such as, Affirmative Action, Sexual Harassment, and OSHA. This position will also coordinate outside training as requested by the Management Team.

Cultural Competency: Chair of the task force, this includes coordinating and running monthly meetings, assisting the task force in identifying cultural competent strengths and weakness, assisting the task force in making recommendations for actions steps and resources to the management team and assisting the task force in overseeing that approved action steps are developed, implemented and complied with by all staff.

Risk Management: Assists the Risk Manager in developing and facilitating the Clinic’s risk trainings, policies, practices and procedures; including tracking and assisting with incidents/accidents and incident/accident reports.

Oversees and tracks employee TB testing, auto insurance coverage, flu vaccination, worker’s compensation and OSHA safety reporting.
