Professional Experience

I am a Chief Experience Officer (Tour Guide) for G Adventures, leading National Geographic Journeys through Southern Africa (South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe). The tour groups are cosmopolitan with many nationalities represented on any tour. My responsibilities include managing tour accounts, booking accommodation and organising aspects relating to tour i.e liasing with activity providers/suppliers, storytelling, giving information about history, flora, fauna, societal structures and culture of the travel destinations and enabling meaningful encounters of the travellers with people and cultures. Furthermore I work with the Planeterra foundation, a non-profit partner of G Adventures, which supports projects in underserved communities.

Helping regional offices facilitating the global training program for new crew: building and inspiring a strong global community of extraordinary crew who are competent in their job, motivated and involved in the purpose at G Adventures. I facilitated training programs in Cape Town, South Africa; Istanbul, Turkey; Las Vegas, Nevada; Nairobi, Kenya and Jerusalem, Israel. The trainings last between one to three weeks.
