Container Manufacturing Manager – Nestle Waters NA – Dallas, TX May 2014 – Current

Manage all aspects of the Container Manufacturing Process (Injection & Blow Molding). 24X7 operation with 1 direct report and 26 employees.

Established departmental expectations, assessed skills sets, and developed the operational and maintenance organization for the 2 departments.

Managing a $1MM dollar maintenance overhaul budget for 5 blow molding machines. Currently responsible for $2.0MM annual maintenance budget.

Injection Molding team leader for a KANBAN project. Worked with Anderson Consulting and O-I representatives in the roll out of KANBAN for the injection Molding department. Project reduced WIP inventory by $500,000, and improved equipment related maintenance costs by $150,000/year.

Worked with process engineer to develop process controls for injection molding processes based on scientific molding concepts.

Quality Assurance Manager – Owens Illinois – El Paso, TX Jan 1994 to May 1996

Managed Quality Assurance Department, supporting the manufacturing operations with one Quality Engineer, and 34 Quality technicians.

Led corrective action team comprised of production and quality personnel.

Managed all QA aspects of the business transfer of facility from Chicago to El Paso. Transfer was accomplished without any negative impact to outgoing quality and on-time deliveries.
