Trainee Electrical Engineer

WATER AND POWER DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY PAKISTAN [ WAPDA ] Work Station:

Warsak Hydro Electric Power Station [240MW]

Role:

o Assist the execution of routine preventive, corrective and inspection maintenance on all primary electrical equipments.

o Assist the Shift Engineer to assure safe behavior of all maintenance personnel and contractors under supervision at all times whilst working on or around WAPDA Assets. o Lead the Electrical crews, manage their day-to-day activities and provide necessary input to maintain morale and appropriate behavior of the crew. o Ensure efficient assignment and utilization of maintenance personnel and resources. o Assist the Shift Engineer in upgrading personal technical skills and knowledge on an ongoing basis.

o Frequent working contacts with suppliers of data and information such as estimating engineers, construction engineers, accountants, programmers, etc. o Assist Junior Operation Engineer to prepare weekly, monthly and yearly power consumption and forecast reports.
