F&B operation for Maywood, Balmoral and off-track betting facilities. Acquired parts of Intertrack in 2010.

Director of Human Resources

Report to COO. Oversee HR functions of 9 off-track betting (OTB) locations in Illinois. Manage day-to-day administrative and personnel functions including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and policy development. Advise senior management on all matters related to reorganization. Updated and standardized employee handbook, employment job application, and severance model agreement with 1 direct and 3 indirect reports with 150 employees at OTB locations.

Reorganized firm's HR functions following spin-off of Coast to Coast from lntertrack converting health and 401k plans saving over 35% per year in costs.

Audited l-9s to meet all INS regulatory requirements without challenge. Updated, corrected, and centralized location of I-9s from OTB locations for easy accessibility for audits.

Consolidated three 401k plans into one with safe harbor provisions allowing higher compensated associates to participate while meeting all ERISA testing and audit requirements.

Operated 14 off-track betting locations for Maywood, Balmoral, and Hawthorne tracks. Merged with Coast to Coast 2010.

Managed human resource functions for a 425-room hotel with 350 employees. Oversaw hiring, orientation, training, and development of all employees. Provided hiring and training when hotel expanded from 325 rooms to 425 rooms. Initiated weekend Manager on Duty (MOD) training program for executive committee staff.
