Assignments are per project working with our Senior Engineering Management staff located at our main offices in Atlanta Georgia and Orlando Florida and throughout the southeastern US and Bahamas providing on-site management Construction Management Services specializing in Water & Wastewater Treatment Projects, CIP program improvements, health care facilities, and miles of infrastructure road water and sewer projects since 1998.
Current project; Snapfinger Creek Wastewater Treatment Facility providing Pre/Post-Construction Services, constructability reviews, building the Primavera P-6 master schedule with Master Scheduler, bidding analysis, and utilizing Oracle Primavera Construction Management software for the on-site project management of the contract. Current position is acting on-site Construction Manager for the proposed 5 year 54 MGD Wastewater Plant with a Membrane Bio-Reactor System requiring nominal micron removal of 0.05. The project modifications as estimated by Parson (Engineer) to be approximately a 250 million dollar cost for our client, DeKalb County in Georgia.
Previously Completed Projects; Miami-Dade Florida Water Treatment Facility. My typical job description and daily activities are as noted for the City of North Miami Beach project a Reverse Osmosis Nanofiltration Water Treatment Plant Project in North Miami Beach Florida budgeted at 70 million. The project combined the existing 17 MGD lime softening water plant with the proposed construction of the 15 MGD NF/RO Water Treatment Facility including a 10k SF 2 story Administration Bldg. with elevator, state certified laboratory, Process Bldg. Pump room High Service Pump Bldg. Post-Treatment structure, chemical rooms and several individual structures totaling about 90k SF several new Biscayne Aquifer wells including modifications and abandonment of several existing Floridan Aquifer wells. Provided on-site Construction Management Services including CEI (inspection) QA/QC (architectural, civil, on-site storm drainage, structural CRSI 318, vertical & horizontal construction, concrete placement, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and process) scheduling of specialty inspectors, ADA compliance, NPDES permit monitoring, review installation and approval of equipment for compliance with the approved shop drawings, coordinate communications between and with the Owner, Engineer, Architect and General Contractor. Review comment and provide on-site documentation control, monitor / record daily project progress, provide on-going photo documentation, update current approved CPM schedule, provide field input to the A/E and Owner on Request for Proposals, Proposed Change Orders, Request For Information (RFI’s), claims, review the monthly pay request and monthly schedule for approval and provide recommendation to the Engineer, review and comment on non-compliance issues, review as-built drawings with Superintendent, submit monthly progress reports to the A/E Owner and Board of Commissioners advising on the overall status of the project attended chaired recorded and provided the weekly meeting minutes to all attendees. Other projects are Infrastructure construction projects installing miles of new water and sewer including demolition and reconstruction of new roads from sewer invert to subase to final pavement. Also retrofit replacement of 24 ea. 120” diameter B-Fly Vales at a depth of 20-40 feet deep. Construction Management Services for a 100K SF Health Care Facility Orlando Florida.
