EXPERIENCE: More than 20 years direct experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, and
Operations, for technology companies, including Contract Manufacturing, which
included operations in the USA, Singapore, Malaysia, and Mexico.
Led several offshore Manufacturing, Engineering & Technology Transfers. Several years of NPI experience, with
extensive RF, Medical, Automotive, and Box Build product experience. Implemented Lean Manufacturing & Kaizen

General Manager
Hired to turn around Operations in preparation for growth from $6M to $20M in sales, including all
Manufacturing, Materials, and Logistics operations. Hired and put key staff in place, as well as the
implementation of MRP, Lean Manufacturing, 5S techniques, Procedure outlines, and Regulatory documents.
This has resulted in significant functional improvements, and the implementation of processes necessary to
scale the operation. Currently sales have improved by 50% over last year, and inventory is back in control,
and monitored.
2012 2013: FLEXSTAR CORPORATION
Vice President of Operations
All Manufacturing Operations, including the Quality, Materials, Customer Support, and Logistics
organizations directly report to me. Implemented processes and controls for production scheduling, material
planning, and customer service. Acquired 33,000-sq. ft. facility, and coordinated move and layout of facility
to improve efficiency and growth potential. Staffed functional teams for the Manufacturing, Materials and
Customer Support departments.
2010 2012: SMTC CORPORATION
Vice President & General Manager West Coast Operations
Had full P&L responsibility for the San Jose manufacturing facility. Was hired to turn around and grow the
operation, and have established new Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Materials organizations. I
implemented Lean Manufacturing, and 5S programs, including cell manufacturing, and visual instructions
throughout the factory. Factory is now a model for the company. In 2010 the site received a commendation
from the City of San Jose for our latest expansion efforts, and providing the opportunity to grow jobs in the
region.
Put plans in place, and acquired FDA, FDB, and ITAR registration for the San Jose site, having that site as
the only site in the Corporation with these certifications. I was instrumental in the acquisition and integration
of another local $30M CM into the San Jose site, more than doubling the revenue, and adding high-end RF
product capabilities.
2003 - 2010: JAE OREGON INC
Senior Director of Operations
Had full responsibility for all of JAEs Tualatin, Oregon and Tijuana, Mexico Operations, including
Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Materials. Accomplished the expansion, and renovation of Mexico
operations and facilities into new buildings. Grew the Mexico operation from 100 employees to 500
employees, and increased revenue contribution from 20%, to over 50% of the companys total revenue.
Implemented several Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen programs at both facilities. Saved over $2.5M in
manufacturing cost from 2005-2007. Implemented the direct ship of product to customers from Mexico. In
2004 I was promoted to the Senior Staff, and in 2007 relocated from San Diego to Oregon to manage both
Oregon, and Mexico Operations. These operations included injection molding, metal stamping and plating,
wire harness assembly, and several test capabilities.
2002 - 2003: TENSOLITE RF CONNECTION DEVICES
Senior Director of Operations
Reporting to the Senior VP of Operations, I had responsibility for the Long Beach manufacturing RF Device
facility, including all of the operating groups. Was hired on to establish a new management team, including
materials, manufacturing, and quality personnel. Put systems, and processes in place to grow the business
over 50%. Participated in multi plant (Florida, Washington, and California) continuous improvement, Lean
Manufacturing, and Kaizen events.
2000 - 2002: COMTEL ELECTRONICS
Vice President & General Manager
Reporting to the CEO, I had full P&L responsibility for the Tustin Contract Manufacturing facility. I was
hired on to turn around the operation from an under $20M yearly revenue at negative profit. While adjusting
the customer base from 27 high mix, low revenue, to less than 15 lower mix and higher revenue, the annual
revenue was increased to a profitable $50M. All Manufacturing operations, as well as the Engineering,
Quality, Materials, and Logistics organizations directly report to me. Product included RF, Medical,
Industrial, and Network products. Set up processes and controls for production scheduling, and customer
commits, as well as material planning and routing. Completed re-layout of 65,000-sq. ft. facility to improve
efficiency and growth potential. Built new functional teams and management staff for Engineering,
Manufacturing, and Program Management departments.
1996 - 2000: GSS/ARRAY TECHNOLOGY

Reporting to the President, I had full P&L responsibility for the San Jose contract manufacturing facility.
Direct reports to me included all of the Manufacturing Operations, as well as the Engineering, Quality,
Materials, and Logistics groups. Had the responsibility for the Manufacture (Prototype through Production),
and repair, of 25 customer product lines in the electronics, and communications industry. Products included
several RF, Micro Cell radios, and Wireless Network products. Set up processes for production scheduling,
and customer commits, as well as material planning, and routing. Set up NPI process for the coordination of
all product, process, and technology transfers to the Thailand facility.
Was assigned in Thailand for 1 years to set up a 250,000-sq. ft. Manufacturing Plant, from the ground up.
Designed production flows, manufacturing processes, and factory layout. After completion, and the setup of
this facility and systems, I remained as the Senior Operations Director for the Bangkok Plant. Coordinated
activities with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality departments daily to meet manufacturing schedules
for $250 million annual revenue plan.
1994 - 1996: SURPLUS SOLUTIONS/WS ELECTRONICS INC.
Vice President of Operations / C.O.O.
As one of the three principal owners, had the responsibility for all Operations, including Finance, Materials,
Logistics, Facilities, and Technical Service and Support. Products included a variety of Computer and
electronic equipment, both new, and used for Retail, and Wholesale markets. Yearly revenue was $8M per
year.
1992 - 1994: ALLIED TELESIS INC.
Senior Director of Operations
Had responsibility for Manufacturing, Logistics, Material Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Test/Process
Engineering, Document Control, New Product transfers, Production Control, and the Worldwide Service
Center operations.
Directly responsible for all Manufacturing processes locally, and offshore at the sub-contract locations.
Revenue was $200M per year. Located 80% of time in Singapore setting up the offshore operations. This
operation grew to 100 people managing the sub-contract manufacturing operations in Thailand, Malaysia, and
Singapore. Put together Transfer plans, and procedures to move 10 different Ethernet hardware product lines
to the offshore sub-contractors. Set up box build manufacturing, and Test processes for Contract
Manufacturing in Singapore, and Thailand.
Defined, and was part of, a core team to install a new corporate ERP system. This included all aspects of the
system, from Sales Order Entry and Distribution, to MRP and Inventory Control. The software was
MFG/PRO, by QAD, and installed on HP hardware.
1986 - 1992: MAXTOR CORPORATION
Senior Director of International Operations/Corporate Logistics
Managed the International Operations group, which supported all Offshore Organizations.
Installed Manufacturing and Test lines in the Singapore, and Penang factories, including the capacity
planning for all test equipment, tooling, and resource requirements for the Singapore and Penang facilities to
meet Manufacturing targets.
Interface with Offshore and Domestic Production Control organizations to attain schedules.
Had the Worldwide responsibility for the Order Management, Product Scheduling,
Customer Support, and Corporate Logistics organizations. Prime interface for OEM and
Distributors worldwide for new orders & repair coordination. Key interface with the Business
Management and Marketing/Sales organizations in forecasting corporate production build plans.
Managed the consolidation project for IT, Order Management, and Field Service operations into a
Consolidated corporate system. This included a Worldwide Order Entry and Shipping system.
