I have worked in the legal field for over 20 years. I have trained many attorneys and staff over the years on billing, computer programs, and everything from writing to research. I have vast experience in both plaintiff and defense and in many areas of law, including but not limited to: Criminal, Family, Property, Eminent Domain, Worker’s Compensation, Personal Injury, Contract, Bankruptcy, Real Estate, Medical Malpractice and Wills, Trust and Probate. I have done everything except practice law. Drafted pleadings, research case law, Memorandums of Law, Caselaw Notebooks, and Trial Notebooks to name a few. I have been a Florida Registered Paralegal with the Florida Bar. I have performed a few closing on personal real property.

I am familiar with many computer programs from Amicus, Time Matters, Trial Works, World Doc and Client Profiles to Word 2003 and 2007, and Wordperfect. I am a computer expert having been trained in Networking and repairs of computers. I am a board certified license adjuster in Florida in the area of Worker’s Compensation Law. I have worked both sides in most areas of law most recently I worked the plaintiff side. I am a certified law enforcement officer in Florida. I have worked part time at Greensboro Police Dept, FL, Gretna Police Dept, Fl as the Accreditation Manager, and reserve officer, for Altha Police Dept, FL as a drug agent and traffic/patrol officer, and since February 2012, I have been with the Carrabelle Police Dept as a part time officer in Patrol and Traffic Enforcement as well as a bicycle/ped crash investigator, a motorcycle crash and Traffic Homicide Investigator.

I am looking to move back into the legal field full time. I have kept current on many legal changes, including case law, e-filing, pleadings, and etc. I have been working part time with a local attorney for the past couple of years while working full time as a local police officer. I am seeking a salary of $45,500 with any associated benefits, but remain open to discuss any reasonable offer. I am available to discuss any questions or concerns. I am also a Notary Public. I can begin immediately, and make a postive impact assisting immediately.

Employment History:

2014 to Present - Full time Police Officer, IT Officer, Grant Writer, part time legal assistant with Sean Culliton, Esq.

2013 through present - Part time legal assistant at Sean Culliton, Esq. Police Officer for City of Carrabelle. Working part time with Sean in the area of workers compensation law, Federal cases for wage an hour, and wrongful termination, but many years experience in Personal Injury and many other areas of law. Advance training and education in addition.

2010 through 2013 – Office Depot, Tech Dept, 9/2010 to 8/23/11, Computer Tutors USA, Inc. Network Administrator 7/2009 to present, and Accreditation Manager for Gretna Police Department. Police Officer for Carrabelle Police Department, and worked as a Police Officer for Atha Police Department in the reserve unit as a drug agent and on Traffic/Patrol Unit.
