WORK EXPERIENCE:
Teleradiologist: USARAD.COM
I cover the nuclear medicine section for a large teleradiology company part time. I am also a supervising physician for the clinic I cover remotely.
Nuclear Medicine Physician: 05/11/2013- Present
I cover part-time for a nuclear medicine physician at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne Florida. My responsibilities include reading and performing cardiac stress tests as well as interpreting general nuclear medicine studies from 2 hospitals.
Fee Service Physician: 08/13/2013- 09/01/2015
I work for the Louis Stokes VAMC in Cleveland Ohio and cover PET/CT, general nuclear medicine, nuclear cardiology and radioactive therapy for a group of nuclear medicine physicians
on a fee for service basis when one of the physician is on vacation or is at a conference.
Nuclear Medicine Physician: 07/16/2007-02/14/2013
MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando (MDACCO)
I was practicing nuclear medicine in a hospital based practice with three other nuclear medicine physicians. Although I was employed by MDACCO, our practice was part of Orlando Health. We provided nuclear medicine services for five hospitals (Orlando Region Health Center, Dr. P. Philips Hospital, South Seminole Hospital, Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando). Due to the hospital system restructuring, the entire nuclear medicine department has been integrated into radiology, and all of the nuclear medicine physician’s positions were eliminated. Officially MD Anderson Cancer Center is no longer affiliated with Orlando Health. The cancer center now has merged with the University of Florida.
