SKILLS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
I am a success driven visionary, well motivated and, an overly dedicated hard-worker and a believer in concurrent learning through different facets of life. During my teenage years I worked as an unskilled Office-Hand, but through hard work and optimism I managed to invest my time in studying further towards a career in Maritime to secure a stable future job and as well as to contribute towards my personal growth. I also blend easily with people from all around the world through my ability to communicate in various languages *Noting that my freelancing Translation/Interpretation post was through this ability to learn and embrace diversity at a younger age. During a Leadership Survey done in March 2014 I got chosen to be in the top 30 students to be enrolled in the Durban University of Technology Leadership Initiative offered for the first time by the institution: for which I now hold 3 Certificates while remaining a young ambitious all-round leadership initiate under the mentorship of certain advisors and ex-parliament members and world-wide reputable leaders; these include ex-government officials, business leaders and United-Nations’ workers that I have met and interacted with during Leadership initiation.
CAREER OBJECTIVES
My career objective(s) are: To obtain a position in the Maritime or related field where I can further my knowledge and gain practical experience of what I have studied at the University level, and as well as to grow in an organization that is well-visioned to empower all its stakeholders and guarantee growth for constant betterment of both the Organization and the employees. I have a well developed interpersonal skills, predominantly; communication. Throughout the years since my first job; I have gained an appreciable self-confidence, optimism, logic of responsibility and I as well embrace and value diversity.
