Analysis of the framework and current status of different renewable energy technologies being implemented into
industrial settings of US and Spain. Included on-site visits to solar garden, wind farm, mini-hydroelectric, and biomass
plants in the Navarre region of Spain, which sustains most of its electricity needs from renewable energies.
Nagoya University Summer Automotive Program Nagoya, Japan Summer 2012
Participated in the Nagoya University Summer Intensive Program (NUSIP). NUSIP included factory visits and
lectures in collaboration with Japanese automobile leaders such as Toyota (Takaoka Vehicle Plant, Higashi-Fuji
Technical Center), Denso (Takatana Factory), Mitsubishi (Okazaki Factory), Honda (Tochigi Research and
Development Center), Suzuki, and Nissan. Top of the line technology and development of the automobile industry
shared and demonstrated.
