Marriott International One Yield Revenue Management System . The One Yield system provided forecasts, restrictions

and authorizations to all Marriott International brands and locations. Enhanced One Yield system to use the sell-out hotel

rooms capacity rather than the physical capacity. This enhancement increased rate revenue per room by an average of 5

percent.

• Made major contributions to the architectural design, development and support of the firm-wide global

Regulatory List Screening Utility The utility was based on COBOL LE, CICS and DB2 and utilized WebSphere

MQ series to communicate scanned results back to the business units.

o The utility performed real-time and batch (overnight) screening of account holders’ information and

payment wire instructions against lists of high-risk entities and ensured compliance with global anti-money

laundering and anti-terrorism requirements and guidelines, including the USA PATRIOT Act, Bank

Secrecy Act, Wolfsberg Principles, regulatory agencies such as the U.S. Treasury's OFAC, and policy-

making bodies such as the Financial Action Task Force.

o The utility handled more than 100,000,000 scan requests per day and supported calls from mainframe

CICS applications, mainframe batch applications, distributed calls through Shadow Remote Procedure,

and Web Services SOA requests.

• Acted as a project leader to build the Blue Sky Securities Analysis System.

The new COBOL II /DB2/ColdFusion Based system was introduced as a replacement for the existing manual

system to maintain Blue Sky information for all securities that are subject to the Blue Sky reporting

requirements in any of the fifty states and US territories.

Blue Sky laws were enacted to protect investors from securities that are as worthless "as a patch of blue sky.”

The objective of the project was to streamline the existing process and improve the way in which Blue Sky

data is entered and maintained
