options.

- Coordinate with commercials on new shops’ openings and other variables.

- For each Launch, place orders to ensure the products availability on the counter for the due date.

- Analyze & study requirements throughout MRP report for ordering needs.

- Maintaining vendor shipment schedules for on-time delivery.

- Analysis of vendor price changes and performance.

- Assure that orders are placed and updated on MIS with accurate data on accurate time.

- Identify and respond to any sudden demand by taking appropriate actions.

- Review open requirements or orders, monitoring vendor performance and expediting where necessary also

when demand exceeds supply.

- Manage rejection notes to be solved either with supplier or internally with other departments.

- Follow up with other departments (WH-quality-custom clearance-payable) to ensure the proper flow

logistics cycle.

- Monitor stock levels and coverage according to the strategic-objectives and agreed annual figures.

- Monitor closely the level of obsolete stock & get rid of

- Determining safety stock levels for new items, scheduled reviews of safety stock levels of existing inventory.

- Study and update forecast quarterly for all items.

Relationships with the other Departments

- Warehouse:

- Advise them with the coming shipments.

- Receiving the feedback from them & revising it in case if there are any missing/damaged items.

- If the shipment is CIF Basis we have to inform the supplier to be noted that it will be deducted from the

transfer payment

- If the shipment is FOB, X-Work & C&F we will inform the accounting dept. to be deducted from the

insurance company.

Accounting:

- Payment Memos for the Suppliers shipment to be including the following:

- Payment Terms

- Insurance.

- Informing the Shop Supervisor that there is a new shipment in order to display it.

- Visiting the floor after transfer the new shipment & follow up with the Shop Supervisor & the sales

representatives the display & their comments especially if there are any new brands.

- Follow up the Shop Supervisor the slow moving items & the near expiry dates of the confectionary to make

the make the necessary actions as promotions

First Out) Rule

- Coordinating with Shop Supervisor the customer needs by receiving customer requests forms & discussing

with them the problems they face on daily basis.
