- Review open requirements or orders, monitoring vendor performance and expediting where necessary also
when demand exceeds supply.
- Manage rejection notes to be solved either with supplier or internally with other departments.
- Follow up with other departments (WH-quality-custom clearance-payable) to ensure the proper flow
logistics cycle.
- Monitor stock levels and coverage according to the strategic-objectives and agreed annual figures.
- Monitor closely the level of obsolete stock & get rid of
- Determining safety stock levels for new items, scheduled reviews of safety stock levels of existing inventory.
- Study and update forecast quarterly for all items.
Relationships with the other Departments

- Warehouse:
- Advise them with the coming shipments.
- Receiving the feedback from them & revising it in case if there are any missing/damaged items.
- If the shipment is CIF Basis we have to inform the supplier to be noted that it will be deducted from the
transfer payment
- If the shipment is FOB, X-Work & C&F we will inform the accounting dept. to be deducted from the
insurance company.
Accounting:
