Job Description The position is responsible for assisting employees of

PhilCare's accounts in their medical related needs and

promoting preventive measures for ailments (such as

hypertension and diabetes).

Responsibilities Included:

Assists patients coming for consultation

To interview each patient to determine his/her chief

complaint

Take each patient's vital signs prior to

consultation/examination by doctor (if applicable)

To assist doctors in minor surgeries,

consultation/examination

Monitors blood pressure specially of hypertensive patients

Does wound dressing

To provide immediate treatment to injuries/illnesses

utilizing proper first aid procedures

Dispenses medicines needed by employees subject to company

guidelines

Takes daily/weekly/monthly inventory of medicines

Prepares requisition for medicines and other medical

supplies needed at the clinic

Files medical charts

Accomplishes Retainer Clinic Daily Monitoring logsheet

Attends regular retainer personnel meetings at PhilCare

Head Office

Answers queries on HMO coverage and services

Facilitates consultation of patients with affiliated

specialists/providers through the issuance of Letters of

Authorization (LOA) (if applicable)

Coordinates emergency cases with health maintenance

provider and accredited hospitals

Assists in the Annual Physical Examination, health

programs, and seminars conducted for special/retainer

accounts

Actively participate in the maintenance of occupational

health & safety in the workplace

To provide health education to employees

Submits monthly utilization reports to PhilCare

Conducts quarterly survey to employees and submits survey
