Forest Management Information System developed on Oracle 8I &
Developer Platform. This system is being used in about 145
Divisions spread out through the entire Kerala . After
completing system analysis and design phases, I completed
actual development with a team of 10 programmers. The project
contained 15 modules, having about 450 input forms and 600
reports. The project was developed in interactive manner. Along
with desired help and guidance to my team, I demonstrated the
work progress every month to the senior officers of KFD. In the
last phase of training after handing over user manuals, about
125 officials of KFD were trained. Now the client KFD is using
the developed software in all its divisions.
