Working in a busy and popular restaurant and routinely having to cook for up to 200

diner every night. Responsible as part of a team for cooking tasty, delicious and healthy

meals for all diners .

Duties

• Washing, cutting and preparing food before it is cooked.

• Making sure that food at point of delivery is off the highest quality.

• Ensuring that appropriate levels of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in the

kitchen

Check the service freeze to make sure that all the food preparation is done ir

required then prepare the food item before service started

Enquiring is any clients have allergicand then cooking meal accordingly.

Constantly checking the quality of the food being served to the customer.

Deciding what quantities are to be cooked and the amount of portions to be

served.

Controlling stock rotation to ensure that the food will not be wasted.

Arrange the cool room and dry store food item in their place.

Fill the temperature log

Prepare checklist for the next day.

• Take out the frozen food item and keep in the cool room to defrost the food item

for tomorrow

• Check the food item for ordering and inform to the in charge of the kitchen.
