UW-Eau Claire competed to create a social media strategy for Halliburton. My
team was selected the winner. On that team, I helped come up with the strategies
and prepare the presentation. Halliburton is currently implementing the

The Firehouse Market Research
o Fall 2011 I took a market research class where we were split into teams to pick a
company in town to do a market research assignment for. My group chose The
Firehouse, which was a new up-scale bar in town. They sell only premium beer
and were interested to find out if cask ale would be a profitable additional. My
group held focus groups, took surveys, and compiled all our information and
presented to them that we believed it would be profitable and flavors that might
be most popular. Based on our results The Firehouse did put in two cask ale taps.
