OBJECTIVE:

Hispanic Medical Clinic where besides conventional Optometry, I co
manage diabetics,
hypertensive and glaucoma patients, as well as a whole host of other ocular pathologies with an
Ophthalmologist there. I work with an OCT, do EMR, interpret visual fields and refer to other
specialists as necessary. I took the Optometry Dept. from almost nothing to two days a week
based on satisfied patient referrals only. I am the Optician, Optometrist and Jr. Ophthalmologist

Management - Over 32+ years of experience working in a private practice,
hospital based, retail office and specialty clinics. Have managed and
supervised administrative, sales and support staff. Knowledge of
managing inventory, cost control, vendor relations, sales and purchasing,
pricing, payroll, hiring and firing. Knowledge of health insurance billing
practices (HMO, PPO, Private Pay, Co-Pay’s and Medicare.) I am a team
leader, team player, teacher and mentor.
