Ortho Grind: which is our medical company. We are a contract
manufacturer of medical instruments such as bone drills, reamers,
screws, rasps, taps, extractors and prototypes for some implants.
Implants that we work with are hip, knees, bone plates, etc. I manage
all medical accounts direct such as Zimmer, Bio-Met, Smith Nephew,
Wright Medical, Paragon and all the other orthopedic companies
including OEM’s and tier suppliers. We manufacture the products that
they need to be able to put into their kits for implants used in those
types of surgeries. During this time I have contacted over three
hundred customers and continue to grow that number each day.
American Tool Service: I am also responsible for overseeing the
sales and service of these products. Which are round tools of all types
and medical instruments. We manufacture special carbide, high speed
steel and brazed tipped tools. We also do complete design and
reconditioning of all types of round tools. I have direct sales people
as well as agents and distributors which I work with in all the states.
Make sure everyone has what they need to perform their job. Such as
literature, quotes and anything else that can help them in their day to
day routines.
I work trade shows and help with publications for all our
products to be shown in different magazines. As well as our web sites.
I work with distributors to train and help them with their
customer needs. Set up new agents and distributors. Review their
performance and make sure they are covering the area which we need them
to address.
Industries which I work with are, medical, automotive, and
aerospace, on off road vehicles, die casting, agriculture and others.
My territory is the entire United States.

* Responsible for the sales and support of CNC and manual machines
for the automotive, aerospace,medical,and agriculture industries. These
include grinding,hobbing,shapers,turning and special machines for all
applications.
My territory covers ten states including Indiana,Kentucky,West
Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama,
Tennessee and Mississippi.
I work with customers to also rebuild all types of these same
machines. Make sure quotes are done and properly understood by the
customers and keep them informed as to the status once a purchase order
is placed for their machines.
Once machines are in place continue to work with customers and help
with support and any service they might have and work on new projects.
Work trade shows when available for our products to be put on
display. Work with agents and distributors which sell our products and
help train their people to make sure they understand and have knowledge
of our machines that they would need to make sales to their customers.

* I was responsible for the sales and support of CNC grinding
machines. These machines are manufactured and imported by Haas Multi-
Grind located in Trossingen, Germany. The machines are used in
different fields such as automotive, agriculture, aerospace and
medical. We have different programs for each of these product lines and
are working to make more of an impact in these industries. The programs
cover a variety of areas. Such as gear grinding, worm gears, helical,
spur and racks. We also have machines which manufacture spline
racks,drills, reamers, end mills and carbide inserts of all types. Then
we have grinders for reconditioning of hobs, shaper cutters and shave
cutters. We also have a line of machines for the medical industry to
manufacture hip rasp, knee joints and surgical instruments for all
types of needs.
* My territory was the entire United States because of my
past experience and contacts with these industries. Also having past
knowledge of their products.
* I research the market place to review who we should be contacting
for possible sales and making our presentations to.
* I am responsible for getting tests ran for the customers
and reviewing those results with them upon return from our plant.
* Then work on procuring a purchase order for our machine
from that customer.
* As well as attend trade shows and work our display booth for our
machines.
* Set up and work with distributors for all our product lines.

* As a regional sales manager I was responsible for a seven state
area, stretching from Indiana to Mississippi. Which when I took it over
was producing about $13 million dollars annually. I was able to bring
that up to $25 million in two years. During this time I had six direct
sales people reporting to me as well as agents and distributors which
were under contract with our company. Also worked with tier suppliers
for the different industries which we sell to.
* The industries that were being serviced were automotive,
aerospace, medical, marine, agriculture, on-off road vehicles and large
tool and die shops.
* While working in service, I tested and compiled data directly
related to the sale of products.
* I dealt with the following products while employed: Hobs, Gun
Drills, Coolant through Reamers, Mill Cutters, Carbide, Thin film
coatings, CNC Cutter Grind Equipment, CNC Equipment for manufacturing
of medical instruments.
* Traveled with the direct sales people (6) total that reported to
me as well as visiting agents and distributors who worked for our
company.
* Was responsible for yearly forecast for my territory.
* While I was a sales engineer I became the top sales person for
five of the six years before becoming a regional manager. During which
time I had one year were I sold nearly $9 million dollars worth of our
products. This included (23) of our CNC machines.
