Received and prioritized all incoming calls and complaints from the public concerning crimes, fires, and all emergency calls.
Entry of all calls into the CAD (computer aided dispatch) system, verifying location, nature of the call and determine
appropriate responder. Radio systems used to dispatch all emergency personnel and equipment to scene of emergency.
Maintain radio contact with emergency personnel, caller, and supervisor for each emergency call. Maintain log of all
radio transmissions. Perform all NCIC (National Crime Information Center) and TCIC (Texas Crime Information
Center) warrant checks and advised appropriate personnel. Managed command vehicle in a crisis situation – entered
items of evidence into evidence.
