Resume:

Paul R Casper

Resume

My goal is to provide extraordinary service to those whom I am privileged

to serve. To be able to make their experience one they may remember as

pleasant and helpful.

I want to be known as capable and knowledgeable and reliable.

Objective

I would like to provide customer service and fulfillment through various

channels (e.g. phone, email and fax). I work well under general

supervision.

I have been in sales for many years

I have a high school diploma and some college hours.

I am currently licensed to sell life and health insurance in the state of

Texas

Work Experience

Contractor with Peyton Resource Group for USAA

San Antonio, TX

May 2011 to December 2014

I helped USAA's members with their Required Minimum Distributions and

redemptions from their Mutual Fund IRA accounts

I worked with the database, contacted theirr customers to resolve issues

and also contacted losing companies to have funds moved over to USAA for

their members.

December 2010 to March 2011

In this capacity, I spoke with members on the phone regarding their mutual

fund investments accounts and help solve problems or issues they have.

At times this would involve extensive research in our database and possibly

looking up past statements or transactions.

I also backed up the Tax Team to answer questions about current and earlier

tax forms.

Self-Employed Life Insurance Sales

Lakehills, TX

Jan 2010 to December 2010

I sold life insurance and health insurance in people's homes

Guaranty Bank/BBVA Compass Bank

Bandera, TX

Oct 2008 to Jan 2010

In my position as Personal Banker, I opened accounts, closed accounts and

also sold and serviced investments including Fixed and Variable Annuities

and Mutual Funds.

My position also entailed resolving customer complaints and difficulties

both over the phone and in person. Any escalated complaints that the

tellers couldn't handle would be directed to me. I was given discretion in

waiving fees and making account credits.

In 2009 I sold over $1.5 million in investments in a town with a population

of 955 people.

Unfortunately, due to a real estate issue, BBVA Compass decided to close

this location.

Not wanting to drive back and forth from either San Antonio or Kerrville, I

went back to self-employed Life and Health insurance sales.

USAA Life Insurance Co San Antonio, TX - employee

June 1999 to July 2007

In my position as Life and annuity sales representative, I took incoming

calls and spoke to people about Life insurance and Fixed Annuities and also

our new product at the time, Variable Annuities. I was involved with

selling Medicare Part D policies as well.

I won numerous awards up to and including a $5,000 bonus and a trip to

Hawaii.

I was charged with helping out with service issues on these policies as

well.

At one point, due to my intimate knowledge with the Variable annuities, was

assigned to a team that handled escalated complaint calls which stemmed

from USAA's decision to leave the Variable annuity business.

It was my job to help our members understand that no matter how badly they

wanted to have a USAA variable annuity, USAA was exiting the VA business

and they would no longer offer those products. I also had to help our

members understand that the fewer Variable Annuities we had on the books,

the larger proportionate fees they would have to pay to leave funds in

those plans. Many were very unhappy - But USAA thought it was for the best

at the time.

KISELIS Brokerage Services

San Antonio, TX

January 1999 to June 1999

It was my job to work with insurance and annuity agents to help them build

their businesses.

In the short time that I was with them, the firm's sales almost doubled

from the same time the last year and had their best year up to that point.

I enjoyed working for the Kiselis's and learned many, many things from

them. They had an excellent reputation.

The only reason I left is that I had been trying to get into USAA and they

made me an offer. The benefits were much better also, which I was in dire

need of at the time, since my wife was expecting a child.

Prior to Kiselis Brokerage Services, I have sold Nextel Radios, Kirby

Vacuums (door-to-door) and trained others to do so for over 10 years.

Managed several sales teams, and owned my own Hearing Aid dispensing

business in which I employed several people.

My wife, sons and I have also bought many homes, fixed them and sold them

for a profit.

My goal is to work for a company that I can be proud of and grow

professionally and personally.
