Interpreter Farsi (Persian), Dari, Screening Cell at BDOC (Base Defense
Operation Cell and Badging office)
. Senior Screener & Interpreter supporting U.S. military forces at
Afghanistan. Conducted & interpreted over 1000 interviews with
Afghan Local National, Pakistan and Iranian.
. Reviews, generates and interprets various dossiers on Afghan Local
Nationals, Pakistan & Iranian that have been interviewed and
screened for US Coalition Forces Counter Intelligence Analysts to
review.
. Advanced knowledge of Afghan Culture. I consider myself a subject
matter expert in document forgeries, specifically pertaining to
Tazkara (Afghans Birth Certificate), and Middle Eastern
Passports. I have screened thousands of such documents. I am also
very familiar with Afghan's tribal feuds & traditions, as well as
enemy activity in the region.
. Routinely interpreted conversations while maintaining accuracy and
meaning of exchanges, including but not limited to translation,
gisting, triage and quality control in a variety of locations.
. I conducted final review & quality controls of all dossier
evaluations for US Coalition Forces Counter Intelligence Analysts.
. Translated and screened official foreign documents (including
Tazkara {Birth Certificates} and passports) for authenticity and
accuracy.
. Translates Local Nationals Biographical data such as: civilian work
history, residential address history and subject family's personal
data for US Coalition Forces Counter Surveillance & Counter
Intelligence Teams.
. Converted variety of official Afghan documents from Dari and Farsi
into English and from English into target languages.
. Conducted cultural advisory support to train U.S. military and
contractor personnel on Afghanistan and Middle Eastern culture,
