EXPERIENCE
Societe Generale – Technology Support Intern September 2014 Present
● Working with the Market Access team which monitors the trade cycle.
● Monitor an application named TMON (Transversal Monitoring System), which detects and displays any errors in the Trade cycle .
● Maintain and developing Shell and PERL scripts for TMON.
● Collaborate with a team of five and monitor various application support tools and debug them in case of errors.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Traffic Engineering February 2014
● Developed a PERL script to monitor the incoming packets.
● The script calculated the average bit rate of the packets.
● The script also returned the most frequent IP address and the port number hit.
● Implemented a Load Balancing algorithm to achieve results close to ideal and at the same time ensure in -order packet delivery.
● Used hash functions for flow control.
Software Defined networking November 2014
● Constructed a network using OpenVswitch (OVS) on mininet, and checked end to end connectivity.
● Configured OpenVirtual switch using ovs-ofctl commands to firewall packets.
● Implemented similar open flow protocol by configuring RYU controller.
Touchscreen Controlled Wheelchair with Tracking Systems May 2012
● Collaborated with a team of 3 to construct an Electronic Wheelchair for hospitals driven through high torque DC Motors.
● Programmed a Touch screen console to control the wheelchair and added obstacle avoidance for safety(C programming)
PUBLICATIONS December 2012
Published a Technical article on Touch Screen Controlled Wheelchair with Tracking System in the International journal of Nano science, Nano
engineering and Nano Technology explaining the concept of the product along with its working. ISSN: 2229-7383
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
● Presented a seminar to more than hundred students on basics of Microprocessors and Microcontrollers which was meant for the freshman
Undergraduate students from all departments to develop interest in processors and controllers.
● Received a Certificate of Honor for conducting a workshop for 100 students on PCB Fabrication and Circuit Designing.
● Organized a technical event named ROBO RELAY during the IEEE 360 annual technical festival. This event was a
Robot based fun event which attracted a huge amount o f students and faculty from 7 colleges under the IEEE Bombay section .
