Public transportation provider for Orange, Seminole and Osceola Counties servicing more than 85,000 passenger
trips each weekday spanning an area of 2500 square miles.
Director, Risk Management and Safety
Implemented Authority-wide safety programs, SOPs and safety equipment necessary for the operation of 300
buses, 50 support vehicles and 1100 employees. Managed a self-insured, self-administrating claims unit.
Determined how best to recognize, analysis, mitigate or eliminate any financial or reputational risk to LYNX.
• Acquired all liability claims from TPA saving $210,000 in adjusting fees.
• Decreased liability claims by 33% ($240,000) through the establishment of the bus pass program.
